This program’s goals are to empower our clients to be self-reliant, and decrease or eliminate their dependency on state/city benefits. Under this program, GED classes and job-training (food preparation and day care) placements/referrals are made, After our client’s complete this 6 month program they are eligible to attend “Career Day” where our clients learn how to dress and interview for a new job, and take a ½ day course in professional etiquette and career counseling. Each attendee will receive a donated suit for interviewing. Entry-level positions are available at one of Casa Esperanza’s operations, offering homeless persons a permanent job/job history, enabling them future opportunities with establishments outside of “Casa”.
